When I wrote “for the Love of God” in 2013 the final draft of the manuscript pleased me. While I never expected the novel to be a bestseller, I thought the work had value. Reviews, in general, were good but after trying to promote the novel I decided to leave its success to the fates.
Recently, I received a review of this novel from the Cultic Studies Review, a journal that’s not on my regular reading list. The review was an author’s dream, not only for its appreciation of the work, but for getting the crux of the novel, its true meaning.
